We were late for lunch. This is the closest to where we are. My partner ordered some Foochow steam noodles (like HK chee Cheong fun) and cooked with meat balls inside some soup. Not to our liking. My junior ordered the red wine & egg mee sudah. More like it. I ordered one bamboo basket of siew mai (took a while to arrive due to the need to steam it to be hot enough) also one char siew Pau and 2 cai Kueh with turnip filling. The Pau was ok but just that it's not hot at all. Cold. So was the cai Kueh. Finally the siew Mai is ready and piping hot. This is at least decent. Plenty of parking because it's out of town and located in a half fill newly built condo cluster. Sorry that we found a fly inside one drink after drinking halfway the coffee ice. It was pushed down by the ice. The worker took it back and came back with another glass. Overall food is just ok. If it's just for convenience sake. you can eat here. Typical kopitiam and of course you need to shoo flies, if any decided to share your food. Came at night for dinner. The boss himself takes out orders in the air cond room. Long tan fish in a bowl (supposed claypot) with yam. Another yam pork belly. For green, yau mak fu yi. The portion was huge. Food was normal but could not finish. The fish dish is around RM 50. Not sure the other 2 as total comes to RM 101. However soon enough the air cond room is full. Those came later and sat along the five foot way. The boss came and saw our fish which was placed on a fire burnt out. He took the bottle of gel to light up the fire to heat up the fish. Very good service. He also spoke to some diners. Guess they are...

🏡Aug 2024 Salted Egg Dry Pan Mee😃😃😃💸8 A dish that promises a tantalizing fusion of rich, creamy salted egg yolk gravy glistening atop the pan mee. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment upon digging in. The pan mee, instead of retaining a firm bite, had become soggy, absorbing too much of the gravy and losing its texture. The gravy itself, while flavorful, couldn't quite save the dish from the limp noodles.

Black Soy Kolomee🤨🤨💸4.5 Dish came with a generous serving of springy noodles, tossed in a savory black soy sauce that clung to each strand without overwhelming it. The pork slices, though a bit chewy, added a nice contrast to the tender noodles. The chewiness was just enough to give the meat substance without...
