This shop is run by an Iban-Chinese person. So you can communicate with them in Mandarin or Iban. One of the waitresses can hardly speak in BM. The food is cheap but tastes only average. So it depends on your budget. I ordered nasi briyani ayam. The Rice was not basmati rice. It was ordinary rice. The rice was hard and dry with kunyit as the main spice. Can hardly taste any other spices. Then it was served with a deep fried chicken wing and fried egg. I wouldn't have been so disappointed if they had named the dish nasi kunyit chicken wing. The chicken wing was well fried even though that's not the way to cook nasi briyani. The roti canai is made on the spot by an Iban young man. He seems professional. This is the second time I went here. Ordered Nasi campur and a glass of iced honey lemon. To my surprise, there was a piece of metal (from a metal scrubber) embedded on my fried rice. I called one of the waiter to confirm my suspicion, and she politely did. She apologised. But the person in charge, buat mcm tiada apa2 jadi. I don't mind paying.
