Stayed at the resort nearby and wanted to have some fresh seafood but there were not many options in the neighbourhood and this place looked like a good choice. We came here for dinner and the restaurant was quite busy, most of the tables were taken. We saw an empty table and sat ourselves down as the owner was very busy. We noticed that most of the customers knew each others as they would greet each other, which is good sign as local people also come here to eat. The owner then came to take order when he was a little free. So there was no menu actually, we just told the owner what we wanted to eat, such as fish or prawn, and he recommended what to order. The waiting time for food to be served was a bit long as there was only one person cooking but the customers all looked very patient. When the food was finally served, we were happy to know that the food was not very salty like other local restaurants. We ordered the signature tofu dish but were underwhelmed. Squid dish was tender and fresh. The giant prawn was ok. Loved the steamed grouper, very fresh and delicate. With the price difference between giant prawn and steamed grouper, one giant prawn is more expensive than one steamed grouper, we would definitely go for the...

Delicious home cooked pork free Chinese food from a very unassuming restaurant. It's a quiet place just run by two people.

I wasn't quite sure what to order when I was there and there isn't a menu. But I got everything that was recommended on Google Maps. The fried black bean fish is fresh and delicious. Not greasy at all. And the specialty tofu is a must try. I've never had such crisp and soft tofu before.

Not quite as cheap as places around the area but well worth the price. Dinner for two we...

Food serve very fast and hot. The shop is quite clean. We order sm fresh prawn which is even bigger than a palm. It is fried up with sm soya sauce and sm condiment to bring out the freshnesh of the prawn. I guess they are famous for fish with black bean cause all the table is ordering the same dishes when v r there. It is run by husband and wife and a waiter only. But the serve is efficient. All napkins and toothpick is available on the counter 'to help...
