Stayed at the resort nearby and wanted to have some fresh seafood but there were not many options in the neighbourhood and this place looked like a good choice. We came here for dinner and the restaurant was quite busy, most of the tables were taken. We saw an empty table and sat ourselves down as the owner was very busy. We noticed that most of the customers knew each others as they would greet each other, which is good sign as local people also come here to eat. The owner then came to take order when he was a little free. So there was no menu actually, we just told the owner what we wanted to eat, such as fish or prawn, and he recommended what to order. The waiting time for food to be served was a bit long as there was only one person cooking but the customers all looked very patient. When the food was finally served, we were happy to know that the food was not very salty like other local restaurants. We ordered the signature tofu dish but were underwhelmed. Squid dish was tender and fresh. The giant prawn was ok. Loved the steamed grouper, very fresh and delicate.
