Had kotiaw sup daging for our lunch during weekday, costs us rm9 per bowl. Crowds not too bad, can easily get table spot for 8 pax and theres decent parking spaces just in front of the stall Generous portion of kotiaw and meat slices. The meat doesn't taste fresh local product (iced imported), feel a bit dry but good thing it doesn't feel chewy and in fact its so soft thats just melts in your mouth. The kotiaw itself also taste a bit dry as for me personally i love a chewer version The broth is a bit dull but they do provides sauces, spices, limes and fish sauce that enable you to complement as per your exclusive taste desire. Once i played around with those condiments, then the game is on. I did enjoy it up to the final slurp from inside the bowl. I personally am a fan of pho/sup champa, tried numbers of restaurants around klang valley, and this is for me is one of the best and deserved a 9/10 overall. I have experienced the best version of pho so far in malaysia from tokmi sup champa in kuala kangsar. Broth is for sure tastier complemented with definitely fresh local beef slices and chicken ball and cost less than what we had here But overall i must say that i did enjoy the meal and may come back if will be around the...
Read moreOne of my fav. food (their signature dish Mee Champa- must try it)where it got it's own taste beef broth soup with option of noodle type to select, also can mod. the original taste of soup to suite personal taste with condiments provided ( need to take from others table). Sliced beef is so tender (but amount of it not much as previous😭). If you lucky, you can order gearbox or 'kateh'( always running out if you come late on weekend or public holiday).
More like self service. Need to order and pay first at couter (don't forget to mention your table number😀). Please be patient to wait for your food and drink, it might take time to prepare. Also got karipap, cakoi/yautiao, keropok lekor/kepok/, cake and durian crepe. All by 3rd parties.
Parking space is limited and might need to park at road side(please don't block residence...
Read moreThe soup was a tad on the sweet side. It would have been better, if the soup was not sweetened from the pot, as the restaurant had avail their customers to sugar, fish sauce, chili sauce, lime wedges, black pepper powder, as well as light soy sauce on the side, for the customers to customise the beefy pho noodles to suit their taste. The beef slices were tender. And the cambodian rice noodles were chewy. I was expecting coriander/cilantro leaves, but was served with chinese celery leaves. It wasn't an authentic pho due to this deviation. The beef tendons weren't available when we requested it. Took quite a while before we were served...
