I recently dined here but was quite disappointed. I ordered the mac & cheese and chicken chop â that was good. However, I also ordered the shell out sambal for two, and unfortunately, it wasnât fresh. The crab, squid, and corn had a bad smell and tasted off â like spoiled seafood.
I told the waiter, and he offered to replace it. I refused because I had already eaten some of the clams, mussels, and half of the rice. I just wanted to give feedback so others donât experience the same thing.
When I went to the cashier, I shared the same feedback. Sadly, the staff didnât say anything â not even a simple word as âsorry.â I wasnât asking for a discount or a new dish, just some acknowledgment.
Please take this seriously and make improvements. If in doubt, I even set aside the crab, squid, and prawns on a separate plate and left it there on purpose so someone could taste it â then...

The food was delicious and flavourful to my palate. Usually when we went to any Western Food place, the food is a bit bland and we might need to add some seasoning for the food to suit our taste. But not at Cap Badak!
The food was flavourfull, the portion is generous, the lamb grill was tender and delicious, we also order the Talam at the last minutes. I thought we could not finished the food after eating lots of food, and were ready to tapau any leftovers for breakfast tomorrow, but boy, I was so wrong! đ There were no leftovers for us to tapau home.
My little brother even ordered their burger together with the Talam. Overall, the food was sedap and the price was reasonable. Thumbs up!
