This restaurant like any other "average Indian restaurants" open for business with little or no clue about food preparation, handling and hygiene. The premises is untidy, not welcoming at all. The food is average and the service is average. If you happen to be in that area and you want an Indian meal then this place is okay with average tasting food and a average range of food varieties and if you not particular about a lot of other things only to satisfy your hunger then it is okay. Read moreWe visited Restoran Shanmuga Bhavan mainly for tea time. The drinks, especially the teh tarik, were satisfying, and the roti bakar was enjoyable. However, we haven’t had a chance to try their main food menu yet.

She was extremely kind and always had a cheerful smile, which made our experience pleasant.
Food Options The restaurant offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, catering to different preferences. They also have canned drinks available, though the selection is somewhat limited.
Overall, the drinks and hospitality were highlights, but a more comfortable environment and better hygiene practices in the kitchen could improve the...
