There was a “All You Can Eat” buffet quite some time ago. The entire food menu presented right in front of us was all included in the promotion and not limited to just some dishes. We ordered some of the most expensive dishes like Peking Duck, Fish, Salad Prawns, Cereal Prawns, Shark Fin and more.
The waitress forewarned us before ordering that the food serving of a dish was quite a lot and for at least four pax. Indeed, expect a huge serving from any dish you order!
We tried every single dessert on the menu. Peanut Dumpling 汤圆 was the most distinctive among all and highly flavoured by all of us. Despite being full, my friends and I ordered a few rounds of it. Very heavenly! My sole complaint was that some of the other desserts were too sweet.
I anticipated that the food for the buffet was generally of lower quality due to mass cooking and smaller in serving to cut cost. It was commendable that the food in Qing Palace Chinese Restaurant conformed to a high standard. It was sumptuous and we had no problems finishing all the...
Read moreWe had a fantastic buffet lunch at Qing Palace Restaurant located in Pulai Springs Resort, JB. The setting was elegant yet comfortable, making it a great spot for both family and business meals.
The buffet selection was impressive, and the price was very reasonable considering the quality and variety offered. Everything we tried was delicious – but a few dishes truly stood out. The roast duck was exceptional – crispy skin, juicy meat, and full of flavor. The steamed fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. The lamb shank (curry lamb) was rich, tender, and packed with aromatic spices. The prawns were succulent and flavorful, and every other dish we sampled was just as satisfying.
The service was attentive and friendly, and the staff made sure our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.
Highly recommended for those seeking quality Chinese cuisine in JB at great value. Will...
Read moreGreat food. I was surprised that the Seabass was really good. No fishy smell, fillet with great skill. The seabass with asam sauce was very good. Got ostrich too — so soft, so surprisingly delicious. Buttered prawn & oat prawn was delicious & crunchy, not really oily. Curry lamb shank was very nice, with hint of sour & salty. Szechuan chili chicken was spicy & marinated so good. Also have oyster, duck, cuttlefish & shark fin soup. Free flow of rice & Chinese tea.
Went there for buffet lunch. Really worth the money.
