We like to have our meals during odd hours in order to avoid the crowd. Just as well we had dinner here at 430pm, because I saw in the reviews section how crowded it can get as night falls.
The young staff were exceptionally polite so there was an immediate feel good factor before we even sat down. While browsing the menu, I noticed the red table cloths were spotlessly clean. I really appreciate restaurants that put in effort to give diners a clean environment, so that's another point added.
The steamboat fish head seems to be a local favourite. They were certainly not stingy, filling the satisfyingly tangy savoury soup with loads of vegetables and deep fried fish. Hence I think the smallest serving is big enough to feed 3-4. Mid way through our meal and without us asking, the attentive staff topped up the soup too.

Even though it's full house, the services are very up to mark, no long waiting. Food portion is big, prices are reasonable.
The famous Wa Dan Hor is RM8 and shrimp paste chicken wing is RM18. More than sufficient for 2 pax..

The soup is so so thick and the prawn is fresh. Nevertheless, there is toufu clams and scallops in the pot.

The claypot pork belly is so fat and I love it! Taste decent, if you prefer fat over lean meat. This is for you.
