"Came all the way from Subang Jaya to dine at my favorite Chinese Muslim Restaurant at TD Point Taman Daya..
Today I had the pleasure of trying Indonesian Prawn with Mantau and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience!
As soon as the dish arrived, I was captivated by its vibrant presentation—the prawns were glistening in a rich, flavorful sauce, and the mantau looked perfectly soft and inviting.
The moment I took my first bite, I was transported to a world of flavor. The prawns were incredibly tender and juicy, bursting with a delicious blend of garlic, spices, and just the right amount of heat. Each mouthful was a treat, and I found myself savoring every bite.
What surprised me most was how well the mantau complemented the prawns. The softness of the buns provided the perfect contrast to the bold flavor of the prawns, and it was so much fun to dip the mantau in the sauce. It added a lovely sweetness that balanced the dish beautifully.
I later learned that Chef Redzuan, the mastermind behind this incredible meal, has won numerous awards, including accolades at international competitions.
This only adds to the allure of the restaurant, knowing that a talented chef is behind every dish. It truly shows in the quality and taste of the food.
This dish definitely exceeded my expectations, and I can confidently say it's one of the best seafood dishes I've ever had! I highly recommend giving Indonesian Prawn with Mantau a try—you won’t be disappointed! I can’t wait to return to the restaurant and order it again.
Given the chef's expertise and recognition, I’m excited to explore more of the extraordinary dishes...
Read moreI recently tried their latest dish, the Ikan Baung cooked in Hong Kong steam style at this amazing Muslim Chinese restaurant, and I have to say, it was a five-star experience at an incredibly affordable price! I’ve had fish dishes at plenty of places, including Soon Hong, but this one truly outshined them all.
From the first bite, I could tell that the chef really knows how to respect the flavors of fresh ingredients. The Ikan Baung was steamed perfectly—flaky, tender, and juicy. You could taste the freshness of the fish, enhanced by the delicate notes of ginger and garlic that permeated the dish. The subtle combination of soy sauce and sesame oil added a wonderful depth that took the dish to another level.
What really impressed me was the attention to detail in the cooking method. Steaming allowed all the natural flavors to come through without overpowering the fish, making it light yet satisfying. I enjoyed this dish with a side of jasmine rice, which was a perfect accompaniment for soaking up the savory sauce.
The presentation was lovely as well, beautifully garnished with fresh herbs that not only added color but also complemented the flavors wonderfully.
Overall, this Ikan Baung dish not only beat the taste of Soon Hong but also provided outstanding value for such a high-quality meal. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to indulge in this...

Updated 12.8.2022 I don't notice any price change and thats unbelievable when every restaurant and warong/gerai selling F&B in JB have increased their prices significantly. To add insult into injury the Food are served in smaller portion. The food's taste remains the same - with good quality ingredients. Definitely Adam's kitchen is one of only several F&B outlets that my family frequented deserved an upgrade to 5 star. Thank you for being a considerate entrepreneurs during this...
