Asitah KNS — Restaurant in Johor

I visited this restaurant on November 16th, 2024, around 1:00 PM, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, the staff simply asked how many people we had and where we wanted to sit. There was no menu provided, nor any explanation of what was being served. I had assumed that sides were available, but it turns out they only serve seafood, which I wasn’t informed of beforehand.

Even the drinks were a letdown—there was no drink menu, and everyone was just given lime juice that wasn’t mixed properly. The lime settled at the bottom of the glass, and they just placed the jug in front of us with no attempt to make it enjoyable.

As for the food, it was honestly dreadful. The lobster and crab served were clearly old—the lobster flesh was actually black, and most of the claws were inedible. My family had to throw away almost all of the lobster claws because of the poor quality. The only redeeming items were the prawns and the fish. The gravy had an overwhelming amount of masala powder, which made the entire dish taste horrible.

To top it off, just five minutes after leaving, I vomited everything out, and one of my friends had food poisoning the next day.

I urge the restaurant to improve both the quality of the food and the overall customer experience. We’re paying for a meal, and we expect better standards. Additionally, clearer communication on what’s available and what to expect would go a long way in preventing such...

I have been there 2 years ago and went again 3 days before. We were 4 people and the quantity wasn't enough at all. The food was too salty and they charged us rm60 per person. We didn't let them know either. Coz even though the food was salty, the taste wasn't there like I had before 2 years. It was less tasty. We felt our money was not worth it. Because we can get better shellout for the least price. If the price is rm60 please give a good quantity or at least a quality of taste. Please Taste it before serving. The food is just nice...but some off the food is very salty and their service is very bad...I suggest better do a self service thing...wen I enter inside they order at food pick up area..then we will send you ....I ordered my food 15 minutes before..my food arrived for me after 25 minutes...and the food they prepared cold ready...I don't no why like this..their staff standing at the food picking area there talking to one other but never see the food is ready and never send it to customers...I tell to the owner their...
