An old dame in the Chinese food scene in JB, it is the go to spot for families, businesses, and celebrations. Think anything from CNY reunions dinners, to wedding anniversaries. Whenever you have to impress, this is the place to be!

Done up tastefully, the entire restaurant is an architectural lesson in class. The restaurant overlooks a golf course, and the view through floor to ceiling glass panels is stunning to say the least. Chandeliers hanging from the ceiling are simple and classy. You get a feeling of upscale elegance, without it coming across as ostentatious.

Now, let’s talk food. The food is ALL STARS! And I really mean it by every sense of the word. The taste is truly next level. Hard hitting and delicious.

Here are some of the ⭐️dishes I recommend you guys get:

This salted egg lotus roots and french bean dish. Deep fried to a perfect crisp, it has the loveliest crunch without being greasy. Light and delicious!

The prawn balls are deep fried, coated LIGHTLY, and tossed in this moreish mayo sauce. It’s creamy and delicious.

The steamed soon hock is always a crowd pleaser. Delicate freshwater meat, steamed to a flaky, melt-in-your-mouth texture, is paired with a deliciously umami sauce. The sauce, though standard in concoction, leaves you wanting more.

Cheesy oysters. With a creamy, molten filling of gooey cheese, it packs a bold flavour that goes well with the oyster (cooked just right)

What I think you can skip

Honestly? Nothing. Everything I had was delicious and up to standard. Definitely reserve stomach space before dining here; you’ll want to eat everything on the menu!

Btw, having visited all of the Restaurant Pekin outlets in JB, I feel that this is the strongest contender ❤️. Definitely give this outlet a 5 stars!...

Looking through google map, I found this nice and quite high rated halal restaurant, I quickly introduced this restaurant to my colleague for lunch. He agreed and decided to give a try instead.

To our surprise, this restaurant is near to a golf field with a good view. On top of that, most of their halal food were so good as shown on pictures. My colleague also agreed and satisfied with the foods ordered.

The staffs there are very attentive and friendly. Not many will come over to this restaurant to have lunch unless you are playing golf there. Price are very reasonable and affordable to us. Many seats available and environment inside are very quiet and cozy. There are plenty of carpark lots available - free parking.

the duck and chicken dishes are really tasty lah. It's quite rare to find such flavorful and well-cooked poultry around here. They definitely know what they're doing.

The service here also deserves a shout-out. The staff are super friendly and attentive, making sure our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. They're pretty knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great recommendations.

Not to forget, the ambience of the place is quite nice too. It’s got a cozy and welcoming vibe that just makes the whole dining experience even better.

In all, I highly recommend this spot if you're craving for some good Chinese food, with service and atmosphere that's more than just okay. Will surely come back and spread the word...
