I recently had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant XY, and it was a delightful experience. The staff's genuine friendliness created an inviting atmosphere that turned a meal into a memorable journey. One staff member, Kathy, stood out with her exceptional service and food recommendations. Her enthusiasm and warmth not only added an extra layer of enjoyment but also showcased an impressive knowledge of the menu. The attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction are commendable. I highly recommend here to anyone seeking not only good seafood but also a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and Kathy deserves special recognition for her exceptional service and spot-on food suggestion. I look forward to returning for another heartwarming culinary experience.

P/s: Reading through other comments and noticed that some of the reviewers experienced slow food serving, our food actually arrived quite fast. We too went to Todak and switched to Restaurant XY because there's no seat at all and the staff at Todak is so unfriendly (understand that the restaurant is packed during the time but it shows your unprofessionalism to...

We had dinner at Restoran YX for my sister’s birthday and OMG the food was sooo good!! 💖 Everything came out fresh, hot, and super flavourful, like seriously, not a single dish disappointed!

The crispy fried fish was chef’s kiss 👏🏻👏🏻 golden, juicy, and topped with spicy garlic sauce that hit just right! The sambal prawns were so juicy and full of heat 🦐🌶, the sizzling tofu was saucy and comforting 🍲, and the omelette was soft and fluffy 🍳✨ Even the veggies tasted amazing 🥬 not plain at all okay, full of flavour and garlic-y goodness!

Portions were big, perfect for sharing with family or friends! Everyone left with a happy tummy! 😋🍽️💯

Service was super nice too, the staff were friendly, quick, and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time 🫶🏼🫶🏼 10/10 service, really made us feel welcome!

Would definitely come back again for another feast like this! 🥰 Highly recommend if you’re looking for yummy Chinese-style seafood dishes at a chill spot!

Stay nearby and planning to have big crab for our anniversary but disappointed with the lousy service. Rude staff shouted loudly at us,said some table was booked can't be seated.They didn't put a proper reservation sign on table,how you expect us know that those were reserved. At least they can tell us nicely and lead us to the available seat since we not sure where to sit. Alright that's fine, maybe they are in bad mood,not the day for them Judging people by appearance and attire, all the way showed us dark face until saw us chosen 2 crabs for meal. Wow don't forget we just stay nearby of course wearing slipper.Wow if we didn't order crab or just order some simple zichar dishes, will the service staff keep looking down at customer??? 2 people spent RM200++ for this kind of service, even though crab was fresh enough,but i think won't come back, no next...
