Visited this small town, Paloh which is just 20-30 mins drive from city centre of Kluang.
Patronised The Gardens Cafe Recipe, it’s a bungalow with nice garden + homestay (myr150 per room/night). We were there for late lunch, as most local coffee shops like Lai Wang, Ling Nam were shuts at 2pm sharp!
Resto is clean (shoes off by side entrance on the left) with nostalgic decors. Ordered a lamp chop (frozen ~fr Australia); Basil Spaghetti n.3 added Salmon (very thinly sliced). All food items seemed ‘mise en place’ by micro-waving, as there’s only one lady (waitress, server, cashier & ‘chef’)!
Would recommend to have drinks / coffee, as food is really nothing great! Btw, if you’re game for some exotic coffee, they serves Kopi Luwak (貓屎咖啡, the world’s most exclusive & expensive coffee) @ myr58 and myr188 per cup...

Can also enjoy historic exhibition of coffee farm in old days. Can have Liberica coffee with a reasonable price of RM5, although I wouldn't try Civet coffee which costs RM188 per cup! Read moreLove their cheese cake and mille crepe cake. Coffee price is ard RM6 to RM10. Tried their own white coffee (not 3 in 1) at ard 5pm+, but can sleep well at night.
