I really wanted this restaurant to be good. Came here expecting a lot unfortunately it’s nothing like the name implies - Fantastic.
Came here for dimsum because the other famous restaurant was full. Crowd never lies. Only 5 tables on a Sunday morning. Choose what you fancy and write it down with the form provided. Ordered a variety of dimsum and a Cantonese yin yong to try out.
Porridge - Boleh la but not the typical good dimsum porridge. Bland. RM5.90
Crispy prawn roll - the best of the lot but only 1 tiny frozen prawn in the middle. RM7.90
Cantonese yin yong - mist of the dimsum/big restaurant serves exceptional noodle dishes. Here leaves me with a lot to be desired. No wok hei and the meehon is very oily. Too starchy for my liking. RM13.90
Chee cheong fun - OMG! Thick skinned, not much ingredients, bland sauce and the chili condiment sucks. RM5.90
Woo Kok - no there not there. But not bad. RM7.90
Xiao long bao - don’t taste authentic or made in house. Very thick skinned. Horrible. RM7.50
Charsiew bao - looks can be deceiving. Don’t like the fillings, sweet. Disappointing RM6.90
Xiu mai - so so only. But bearable still. RM6.50
Lotus bun - not bad. Not too sweet. A tad small for RM6.90
Har gao - seems like all of their dimsum is thick skinned. Not very enjoyable. RM6.50
Place is with AC, cooling. Manned by mostly Burmese but service is fast.
Restaurant is clean but I was seated close to the aquarium and toilet as it was one of the smallest table available. It’s unsettling to see the fish staring at you, barely able to swim, just waiting to be sliced up and served.
Parking is fairly easy as the restaurant is not busy. Total bill with 2 Chinese tea RM85.35. Food is reasonably priced, sadly the taste - meh....
Read more** very long review Came here for cho2 dinner. Waited for 1.5hours and we get nothing. Reached around 7.30pm, super crowded. Waited for almost 20mins just to make an order. Only one chinese aunty who can take order, and she writes in super slow....motion...... After ordering for around 30mins we checked with the same chinese aunty for our order, tell us to wait and be patient. She did not check our order, just ask us to wait. Then after some time we check again with another lady. Did not come back to us. After 1.5hours of waiting, we asked the chinese lady again, she say she will check. But cannot tahan already, the table next to us who came later got their first dish. So we went in and check with the counter, only one warm water (which we add on later) in the bill, nothing else. Seriously.. we asked twice and no one recheck the order. Please kindly reconsider hiring a better person who can do order. And if u cant cope with so many customers, dont take so many orders la, reduce the...

We recently had a delightful dinner at Fantastic Seafood Restaurant with a group of five. We opted for the RM88.99 set meal, which included assam steamed fish, salted pepper sotong, claypot kangkung, and steamed egg.
To enhance our meal, we added on a crab meat fin soup, salted egg deshelled prawn, and their signature ribs bone. While all the dishes were tasty, the claypot kangkung and salted egg deshelled prawn were the clear standouts. The kangkung was cooked to perfection, while the prawns were crispy and flavorful.
The service was attentive and efficient, and the restaurant's air-conditioned environment provided a comfortable dining experience. Although the ambiance was relatively simple, the focus was on the delicious food.
We've heard that their dim sum is also excellent, so we're eager to return and try it out. Overall, Fantastic Seafood Restaurant is a great place to enjoy a satisfying...
