As a nasi lemak enthusiast, I'm always looking for good nasi lemak anywhere I can find them. At least here at Ishak, it's definitely one of the best, if not the best nasi lemak available in Bangi.
The star is of course the sambal. I always ask for extra (I'm what you would call a "hantu sambal") and they always tasted consistently good. The rice is also cooked perfectly. Some stalls have days where either the rice is too wet or too dry. But here it is always good. Other than that, I think the fried anchovies are the perfect complement side to the dish. The teh tarik is also pretty good, which is hard to find among Malay stalls sometimes (I usually prefer mamak style teh tarik).
Since the place is basically a small food court, you usually won't have any problem finding a table. And it's not intimate, so you can bring a few more people rather than usual. The only downside is sometimes you get different prices ordering the same dish.
