Restoran Tok Keramat Jitra — Restaurant in Kedah

Heard about this great place for awhile now. Came to try it and see what's the hype all about. Parking is not that hard.. location is easy to find. When you first entered the restaurant, u are greeted with a wide array of food and of course a big crowd. The food ranges from bakar bakar, goreng goreng, ulam ulaman, curries, rendang and many more. Of course the signature has to be sotong bakar. Prepared freshly on top of the grilling pan, this restaurant serves big and fresh squid. Do try other daging bakar, daging masak tok keramat. One thing really great about this place is the freshly prepared chillies. So many choices, cabai hijau, some red and really spicy chillies are my favourite. There's too many things to say about this place. Do come and experience yourself. Price is reasonable. It's not very very cheap...

I was here to entertain some guests who wanted to come here. The crowd was just like before the pandemic. There were people in every turn you take - from taking your rice, to choosing your dish, to paying for your food and looking for an empty seat.

Yes, we scanned our MySejahtera and took our temperature, but there's no one there to check. If it wasn't because of my guests, i would change our venue. The crowd during the current situation made me uneasy.

There's a vast variety of food as usual, with somewhat affordable price. The staffs were very quick and efficient during payment was made and clearing up the tables. So...

Lots of choices, but the price is not that cheap when you factor in the location. I had much cheaper option in Shah Alam or even Petaling Jaya when I took the same dish.

I guess it's an opportunity to get some extra dough from outsiders who have the ability to afford it.

All in all, the environment and choices of food might be a factor that pull in the crowd. However to put it as the cheapest place for you to dine in is but misguiding as it is not the cheapest, especially when you put in remark on the signage "Paling Murah Di Malaysia" whereas there are other places that selling cheaper especially in...
