The Bold Lab Cafe — Restaurant in Kelantan

i went there on a wednesday night for a small casual dinner reunion. we came pretty late at about 9 and the kitchen close at 930. i understand the shop closes at 10. we lost track of time so at 1015 we were still talking and the food on the table was not finished yet but a male waiter came and just took the food away, it was a very rude move. we were so shocked bcos the food was still half full and my friend was still eating it, he just paused for moment to talk but that waiter just snatched the plate away. unbelievable!! so one of my friend shouted to him nicely saying the food wasn’t finish, that guy ignored us at first but he came back and put the food back. we just laugh it off bcos that rude waiter caught us off guard and we didn’t want to cause any trouble. but when we think about it, that’s THE MOST RUDEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO US IN A CAFE!! 🤦🏻‍♀️

he could’ve just let us know that they were closing politely and ask us to go, but nope. he had to act...

Pros have mysejahtera qrcode, hand sanitizer, temp checker before entering the premise, all staffs wearing masks, and also got reminder for patrons to wear mask at every table 👍🏻 interior is ok, nothing fancy, i like the open bar concept, can see the baristas preparing your coffee from your table ordered volcano burger, salmon chimchurri, vanilla latte and chai latte, with one slice of burnt cheese cake as dessert. Food and drinks are nice and delicious had variety of food from rice to western cuisine can pay thru ewallet (qrpay, grab, touchngo, favepay) service is ok wifi is fast

Cons pricey parking abit precarious duirng peak hours

Overall had an enjoyable dinner with good food and lovely companion, will come again to try...

Everything about this place is superb. Please be advised that the price may be expensive, but they deliver what you've paid for.

Their matcha waffle is delicious, love the crunchiness with softness of the waffle. The matcha ice cream is flavourful with hint of bitterness of the matcha complimented with the sweetness of the red bean.

The affogato is great, it'll be sour because it's known that coffee acidity is increased when cold.

Their Cream Mocha is wonderful. Really feel the creaminess, the chocolate, the coffee. Everything blend well together.

Atmosphere is great. I came during non-peak hour so it's easy to park and find seat. Definitely recommended and definitely will come again to try...
