Update review: My most recent visit, which involved an order of 1 Vegetarian Briyani (RM16) and 1 Chicken Briyani (RM20), was a significant letdown. The food was profoundly disappointing. It barely resembled briyani, feeling more like rice drowning in excessive gravy. The vegetarian briyani, in particular, was severely lacking in vegetables, consisting almost solely of onions. The overly spicy, gravy-soaked rice made it incredibly difficult to eat, and I ultimately ended up discarding it. This experience left me feeling that what I received was not briyani at all, but rather something closer to "satti sorru."

This stark contrast between my dining-in experience and my most recent order paints a confusing picture. While the initial dine-in left a fantastic impression, the subsequent order highlights a concerning inconsistency in their food quality, particularly with their briyani.

I've ordered from Foodpanda a few times, and while the food was decent, it wasn't anything special. However, yesterday I had the chance to dine in, and my opinion changed. The staff and owner were very welcoming, and the shop itself was bright and clean.

They quickly provided the menu and recommended their best sellers, although it felt a bit overwhelming with their constant promotion of the Pottalam Briyani.

We ordered the Banana Leaf Rice Set and the Vegetarian Pottalam Briyani, along with a side of fried tenggiri fish. The food came out quickly and was served hot. The briyani took about 15-20 minutes but was fresh and piping hot when it arrived.

All the food and drinks were delicious. As recommended, the Pottalam Briyani lived up to the hype! The portions are huge, definitely enough to share. The highlight of the banana leaf meal was the homemade pickle – it had a unique, fresh taste compared to typical bottled pickles.

We recently hosted a lunch celebration for my brother’s Registration of Marriage at Mirch Masalaa Cafe, and I can’t express enough how perfect everything turned out! From start to finish, the experience was flawless.

The hall decor was beautiful and thoughtfully arranged, creating an inviting and warm atmosphere. The ambiance was equally impressive, setting the perfect mood for our celebration. But what really stood out was the food—it was absolutely fantastic! Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was.
