New found gem, i am a genuine hakka YTF lover where salted fish and meat balance is a must!
I came with my wife during dinner time, no queue, parking is just beside the stall, food was served 10 minutes later after i placed my orders in like 30 seconds? As I dont like people waste my time, so i don't hesitate and waste others time when i am ordering neither.
Their YTF is freshly stuffed "AFTER" you placed your orders, so expect to wait some time.
Tried their "lat tong", made with hand made fish cake, pork slices, hand made meat cake & real peppers has quite some "kick", which i liked, hopefully can get to try a "extra spicy" version next time i visit, cost only RM18
Environment wise, nothing much to expect as it's a roadside food stall, but it's tidy, clean and well equipped with water-mist cooler for its standard.
Don't be like some of the commenters here pay roadside stall price but expect 5 stars standard or service here, pls be fair to shopowner la
Price wise, very affordable to my standards.
RM71.30 for two persons 2 ytf white tofu 4 ytf yao char kuey 4 fish balls 4 tofu pok 1 chili ytf 4 fuzhok ytf 1 pepper soup "辣汤" 2 white rice 2 drinks
Thumbs up for not frying the YTF so oily or over-fried 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Will definitely visit again for their YTF & Pepper soup, hopefully the next time get to try their bitter gourd, braise pork leg and stir-fried petai.
Sorry no photo as i was too hungry to feast as the food...
Read moreI recently visited Hakka Yongtofu, and while the food was tasty with generous portions, there were a few aspects of the experience that left me slightly disappointed. Firstly, the owner's loud and busy demeanor made it difficult to feel welcomed or well taken care of.
However, the highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the delicious Hakka Yongtofu itself. The dish featured big, flavorful chunks of tofu and a variety of fillings that satisfied my taste buds. The flavors were well-balanced and left me wanting more.
On the downside, parking was a hassle. Finding a suitable spot nearby was challenging, which added some inconvenience to the overall experience. Additionally, it's worth noting that the restaurant only accepts cash payments, which can be inconvenient for those who prefer card or digital...
Read moreFirst time pay our visit here. We just Google nearby Yong Tao Fu and this is what we found. Luckily they pick up phone else we may not visit, reason being many restaurant doesn't operate due to MCO so we dare not visit restaurant which doesn't pick up call. OK, back to the food. Price are reasonable RM1.60 per piece, the size will impress you. We ordered pork instead of fish, mostly good except the dumpling, next time maybe I should try fish. We ordered 26 pieces for 6 pax. Easy to get parking and less than 30 minutes your food ready to collect. You may also call to order before you visit.
Above review was two years back. Pay a visit lately Jun 2023. Price increased to RM 2.20 😅 the lady before me asking for return, her fish ball RM2.70 per unit, idk...
