We were looking for a quaint romantic place to celebrate our 43rd anniversary on 11 March and since we were staying close by, I looked up CoCo's bristo. We had been in Malaysia for 2 weeks and longed for some genuine continental food. So we visited CoCo's on Tuesday 10th March to check out the place and was told that it is closed on Wednesdays. So we decided to come back on Thursday, never mind we were a day late in our celebrations. I liked the laid back atmosphere, the quiet chatter of the patrons, mostly westerners, and the good vibes of the place. The sunset view is great and one can walk on the beach. Food was a good change from the mostly local fare that we were used to and we had a salad, fish and chips and Shepard's Pie. They came piping hot, and tasty. All in all a good experience.

Really great value for money and a very good price for a pint of Guinness. Fish and Chips and Cordon Bleu were both good and satisfying for the price. Only thing that makes them lose points are the dogs. I am a dog lover myself, but they scare toddlers, and some older kids at another table were also frightened. The dogs are fine and one ended up sleeping on my foot quite comfortably. But sadly, overall it’s just not ideal to have them around in a restaurant setting as some people just aren’t as comfortable with animals as others.

Seaside dining where you can catch the beautiful sunset and listen to the waves. The food here is excellent as always. All the items on the menu are well prepared with must try items being the Irish Lamb Stew, Fish and Chips and the garlic cheese bread. Suggested to come early or make reservation as limited seats are available in this rather popular outlet. Drinks are also inexpensive. You will need to keep an active eye out for the entrance from the main road and its easy to miss.

Arrived by Grab...is this the right place? Could hear voices, then spotted the Guinness beer pump 👍 We had a table on the terrace. It had been a bit moody weather wise, and we had been given a table on the terrace. We ordered drinks and food (roast beef) and then it started raining a little bit. After 30 minutes, no drinks had arrived - okay, relax, it's busy.... Then it rained some more. No tables under cover, so we sat at the bar. The staff at the bar served the bottle of red wine we'd ordered from out of the fridge, into an ice bucket......okaaaay, not used to cold red wine. Thought we'd be offered a table, but no. We had our roast and chilled red wine, sat at the bar. And we loved it. The veg, the potatoes and everything was well cooked. The beef....was delicious. Lean, perfectly cooked and just delicious. The staff were under pressure, but still smiling and working hard. So, in summary - book, turn up, get a drink at the bar and chill out. It exceeded our...
