Not sure what’s the hype here ▪️Ikan 3 rasa - taste like an instant store bought sauce, too bland ▪️butter prawn - nope the eggy butter didn’t work. Fried for too long that it came out to bitter end, can see photo (brownish instead of golden yellow) and almost soggy with oil. Also not thin as it supposed to be ▪️ikan keli bakar - arrived too late and after multiple inquiries. My rice left only a pinch on the plate. The outer skin came out as too charred leaving bitter taste ▪️Mushroom fritter - the batter got weird taste and too salty. Didn’t finish this ▪️The free ulam - is quite unhygienic. They only prepared one tong for cucumber. The rest of veggies were to be picked with own bare hands. A guy beside me simply touched an ulam raja and put it back into the basket, leaving unseen germs for other customers. I ended up rinsing the veggies with ordered warm water ▪️It was very crowded and it was raining. We were re and reseated to a table near tong sampah with employees going back and forth behind us. After I pointed that out, they moved the waste bin, wiped the table, and swept used tissues on the floor. We were not expecting layanan kayangan, but we just wanted proper table with considerably clean area to enjoy the dinner 😶
Still can’t understand why this restaurant gone viral. The delayed might be justified due to high customers demand, but the taste was not out of the world especially the 3 rasa sauce
▫️But on the bright side, they did have self served free flow of ulam and sambal. I guessed that’s one of attraction factor here ▫️And when I complaint about the ikan keli, the Owner profusely apologised, acknowledging the mistake and even offered discount rm2.50. ▫️The employees were proactive in taking order and most of the food came in timely manner except some
Overall, the condition of the restaurant can be improved. Suggest to make sure every customer get proper seats before accepting more than capacity. And probably hired more employees to grill the fish. Have tried here, so we will try our luck at another restaurant if we ever...
Read moreWe really had a bad experience here... the cashier was SUPER RUDE. Taste wise is SO-SO. No more repeating... so damn true. The price for ikan bakar is per fish okeh no matter what size of the fish🤦♀️.. the squid was about rm60 which is oklah but the butter prawn yg hangit itu was charged rm60 for 9 prawns only..muahahha.. but, we paid for what we ate.. tak minta diskaun pong.. tp.. the bad things started at the cashier counter. 1st incident: we DIDN'T KNOW that we need to bring along the paper that represents the no. of the table (we are the tourists okeh.. bukan local). Then, the rude makcik said "ni bukan masa nak tunjuk2... kalau rasa tak mau bayar meja org lain..pi ambik kertas kecik tu..." nampak dah her rudeness di situ.. 2nd incident: we cancelled tomyam ayam since it was not arrived at our table until we finished ate the food. The staff was noted about this. But maybe he forgot to inform the cashier. So, once we checked the bill, we said, we only got t.cendawan, t.ayam cancelled. With the smirking face, the cashier said.. "dlm tomyam cendawan ada ayam dak..." ..eh hello, we ordered separated tomyam, why you combined? Luckily the staff was there... he save the arguments... Overall, get another options.. what a experience 🙄 Btw.. tak salah kedai na.....
Read moreLiterally just got back from the restaurant. The food was bad. Not all food though. Just some of it. We ordered Prawn Butter but it looks like fried prawn. We then asked the staff but the staff was hesitant to answer us. So he then called the Lady Boss. And apparently the boss said that “Ada hari tak jadi, ada hari jadi. Dan harini, butter dia tak menjadi” What kind of answer is that? First of all, you buka restaurant, mana boleh bagi answer macam tu. Kalau tak jadi, buat balik. Bukan nya bagi customer jawapan macam tu. “Kalau taknak, cancel.” Is that how you answer to your customers? With that defensive tone of yours. Come on. Do better. Kueh Tiaw Hailam, it was so bad that my husband terus tak makan. The colour was off, the taste was even worse. Manis gila. How do you even hired your chef at the first place? We were all so disappointed with the food....
