LAMAN HIJAU CAFE — Restaurant in Negeri Sembilan

This is our second time dining here. The place is nice and the food is quite good. However, service remains an issue. After waiting for 10 minutes, our table was still not cleared, so we had to move to another empty table ourselves. It seems the staff is overwhelmed — the same people are taking orders and clearing tables.

There’s been no improvement in terms of staffing since our first visit. The owner should consider hiring more staff, especially during weekends. The food was decent, though a few items could have been improved. The nasi lemak was quite average; while the beef lungs were overly salty, the other components were fine. The tauhu gedik was just okay, though it leaned a bit too sweet for my taste. On a positive note, the roti canai was perfectly crispy and is something I’d definitely recommend.

Salam, me & my mom was waiting outside the restaurant gate with all the early diners. Excitingly! We get in about 7.45am 21th March 2023 at Laman Hijau Cafe. We ordered half boiled eggs 2 sets, roti bakar, karipap, tauhu gediks, ayam grg, sambal paru n many more🤣. Food arrived. The moment of truth. The half boiled egg was cold.
