I originally didn't want to post this, but I feel like people who'd want to come should know. I think this place is overrated because it's by the river or something. Prices are not cheap... you basically pay for the view as well. And probably free "surprises" from shared cups and mugs.
First, trusting a CHILD to properly clean. Second, isn't that illegal, making a child (not a teenager) work, like a child labour? And third, it also feels illegal to not properly maintain hygiene.
Service is extremely slow. Got our buns first, our drinks, instant noodles, and then some fried snacks. All of this took from around 4pm to 6pm.
They give free lemon water at the front. I didn't think much of it except to pass the time because food and drinks were slow.
But then I saw this child just rinsing used cups and mugs without soap.
It's quite disturbing, to say the least. I immediately stopped drinking. It's like a health code violation.
Germs and viruses easily spread through saliva.Ā Saliva contains bacteria and viruses that can cause illnesses like colds, flu, or even more serious infections like strep throat or meningitis.
I think this is common sense. Individuals with weakened immune systems are more susceptible to illness from bacteria and other pathogens.
If a cup is not properly cleaned and sanitised, it can become contaminated with harmful bacteria or viruses, potentially causing illness if consumed from.
And also, no wonder there's a red tint on the cup my friend was using... it was probably from someone's lipstick residue. Maybe it's just me, but I find it concerning and disgusting that this child does not properly clean the dishes used for customers.
I understand the lack of staff, but is it worth it to compromise health? I mean, I am disgusted. What if the person before has hepatitis A and I use their utensils? I'll be susceptible to getting it too.
I'm not trying to tear this business down, but I'm giving others warning to watch out. Stay safe and take...
