SHARING Cafe @ Nilai 3 — Restaurant in Negeri Sembilan

I was highly disappointed with the service today. I was the one who recommended this restaurant to my colleagues, and we even pre-ordered our food, knowing from my past visit on 08.08.25 that there might be delays due to a shortage of chefs. We even noted clearly that the food should be ready by 1.15pm as our lunch break is only from 1–2pm.

We arrived at 1.10pm and waited until 2pm for our food. Throughout this time, none of the waiters or waitresses checked on us, and although we could understand their busy situation, it was very frustrating. After multiple follow-ups, I lost patience and requested to meet the manager. Unfortunately, she chose to remain in the kitchen instead of facing the customers. If her reason was to “help in the kitchen,” then I would question why hold a managerial role if you are not willing to manage and communicate with customers. Meanwhile, the staff on the floor were the ones receiving all the complaints.

Finally, our food only arrived at 2pm, and we had to rush through it without being able to enjoy, despite the high price.

A humble request and suggestion: Please hire enough chefs to prepare and serve food on time, and ensure that management steps forward to address customer...

We decided to visit this Western restaurant after seeing it featured on a “Top 10 Nilai to Eat” list online. It lived up to the hype! We ordered the Fish & Chips, Grilled Chicken Chop, Carbonara Spaghetti, and Mushroom Soup, and all of them were incredibly delicious. The quality of the food for the price is really impressive. The Fish & Chips, especially when paired with the tartar sauce, was outstanding. We also tried the Ribena Sprite, which was surprisingly good. It’s a creative combination that I hadn’t thought of before, and it was very refreshing. The restaurant is located in a repurposed factory, which has been turned into a food court. It’s a unique idea and creates a nice atmosphere. Initially, it was a bit hot due to the sun, but it cooled down significantly as the evening progressed. Worth the price as the portion was big and delicious! Overall, everything is okay for me but this is just my opinion that maybe the employer would like to take my points for improvements:

• the waitress need to be more customer-friendly • food&drinks preparation time need to be improve

Do I recommend this restaurant to others? Yes, you should try! But please be patience while waiting for you foods during peak hours because good things take time, right? 😎
