We reached this non-airconditional restaurant on weekend at about 9am. All tables were vacant. Table service for ordering. Serving within 10 minutes upon ordering Dry noodles with black sauce were mediocre. Nothing special. 2 stars Herbal soup noodles were a bit surprise. It was very similar to herbal soup in penang. 3 stars Roast duck was mediocre. The duck meat was too dry. The skin was tasteless. 2 stars BBQ pork was special. The charcoal burnt area was crispy and delicious. The fat portion was also very tasty. 3 stars The yong tau fu was smooth and fine. 3 stars Total bill RM43 for 2 persons' breakfast

In a kampung baru settlement where gold mining was the initial activity that caused many unhealthiness due to chemicals used in the industry. The village filed a petition to stop the activity many years ago and it halted. Quiet place. This roast duck and braised pork restaurant has been in business for decades. A small green finger patch on the side provides some cooling atmosphere with papaya trees bearing fruits for the owner to sell too. We ordered a quarter roast duck and mixed braised pork tripes and intestine with tofu and eggs. There was the herbal soup too. Nice lunch!

This shop was recommended to us by a local friend - she had such good things to say about the food. However, we didnt get a chance to try out the food. We arrived at the shop and asked the owners what they had on the menu (because we obviously need to know our options). Due to the language barrier, the owner (guy) struggled to explain to us what they had on the menu, but he kept trying. Then came a lady (owner- I suppose), who LITERALLY started shouting at us in a very irritated tone and face. She was rude and obnoxious. We were in shock!! There's no way she's actually being rude, right?! WRONGG!! She continued being rude and obnoxious. As paying customers, we didnt appreciate being treated like beggars; we walked out!

It's safe to say that I'm NEVER going back there!!! I don't care how nice their food is, but that treatment is RIDICULOUS AND...
