We ordered the Mala soup and clear soup. Soup refills are unlimited. The Mala soup had very strong, raw spices, making it difficult to consume. The clear soup was very bland and lacked any stock flavor. We arrived around 9:30 PM, but the chef was kind enough to accommodate and serve us.

The rice we ordered was served cold, which was disappointing. However, the pork rolls and sausages were good.

Highly recommended. This was a surprise find for us. We had planned to eat closer to the heart of cameron Highlands but found ourselves stuck in heavy jam which barely moved. We decided to detour and chanced upon this gem. Soup base was great, huge variety of ingredients and they serve beer which goes very well with steamboat.
