Marina Seafood — Restaurant in Pahang

Food: delicious, comparable/better than Ana Petai and other competitors nearby. I'd really recommend the salted egg crab, they should've made it as their signature dish for branding purpose. Sotong celup tepung, ikan Bakar, tomyum all were great too. All these for a cheaper price than its peers.

Service: fast. Largely due to the relatively fewer customers as most people choose Ana Petai. Can pay via E-wallet

Atmosphere: this is where they're lacking a bit. It's located on the roadside, parking is quite limited. Cleanliness is ok acceptable for Malaysians. Less customers than staff means tables are clean. Hopefully during the peak hours, they keep the same hygiene level

In short, I can say Marina have the potential to beat their strongest competitors. Need more people to support this restaurant instead of swarming the "big guys". To the owner, if you can improve the weakness I outlined earlier: atmosphere, parking, branding and marketing, tip top cleanliness, this restaurant can go far. Otherwise, you can stay in your comfort zone and see others go...

Very small restaurant but very nice meal. Limited parking space as the restaurant were right by the busy main road.

I would say their salted egg crab is the best and very recommended. Very crispy and balanced taste, not too salty and spicy.

Their sotong tepung also were nice and crispy. Ikan bakar were moderately nice for us as during our visit the siakap was not really fresh.

Our bill cost RM 190 for 6 people with sup campur, 2 sayur campur, telur dadar, sotong tepung, ketam telur masin and siakap bakar.

Service were fast, staffs were friendly and helpful. They’ll help you when you choose the seafoods and would also suggest the amount appropriate to your group.

Please try this lowkey restaurant, even better than those big restaurants where you’ll need to queue for hours. Here, no queue and fast! And dont get confused with another marina restaurant, which is a bigger restaurant along the same road with...

It’s a mandatory for us to drop by Marina Tomyam Seafood when we are back in Kuantan!

No comfy ambiance, no aircond, no seaview, no fancy menu, no official FB or IG page, no wonder it stayed hidden for so long …. but the seafood here is super fresh and super aroi mak mak, u can choose ur own seafood and weigh it by the gram. If ur into fishing, u can even bring the fish that u caught and let the chef here cook it for u.

For parking u can park down the road abit in a vacant land, not necessary need to park right in front of the restaurant as it’s quite dangerous.
