I have been patronizing this restaurant for about 10 years. After MCO, today was my first visit with family. Apparently many staff that I knew already left, and now they are operating with part-timers. Nevertheless they are courteous and very accommodating. The food is as usual delicious and palatable. This is ballroom hotel styled chinese restaurant.
I love this place because:
Opening hour Lunch- from 11.30am- 2.30pm But best time for lunch 12pm-1.30pm
Dinner-from 6pm-10pm Best time for dinner 6pm-9pm
Anytime beyond this best time would make unnecessary rush in indulging the super dishes.
Call the number for reservation like I do.
Guide to order portion size If you are a family of 5, small sized portion is sufficient to cater all. Bear in mind small here equivalent to medium/large portion in ordinary restaurant.
Pricing Steam fish is prized at RM65/kg, Butter prawn RM30 (s) and some other side dishes from RM18- RM30 (s). Their menu card is very transparent. For special fish, prawn, duck and pork do enquire for price.
Ambience & facilities Cosy, pleasant and cheerful. Family, disabled and family friendly.
Ample parking spaces.
Waiter/waitress Polite, humble and very friendly.
The only drawback, which is not a problem to me, is language. They are well conversant in Chinese but English speaking staff are quite rare. However, the waiteress/cashier can speak Bahasa Malaysia and able to get the messages through. They do all they could to make me understand their dishes.
Payment option -VISA/MASTER cards accepted -Cash

Read moreDid anyone experience at this restaurant that the cashier copied your credit card number into their computer system when you make payment or is it just happened to me? The cashier asked for my credit card at the counter when I made payment. I passed my card to the lady named Yin to tap the card & for me to key in password. But before that, she flipped the card at the back and keyed in the card number into their system. She also saw the 3 digit security code of my card. I was not sure did she copy that because I couldn't see the screen. I asked why did she do that, she said this is their system. I think it was not right to copy the card number without my consent. When I told them I felt very insecure and uncomfortable that they did that. The 2 ladies at the counter showed very frustrated to my questions and didn't bother to my worries. If you think this is not ok for them to copy your card number, better don't go to this place. Anyway, i found a lot of dishes on the menu were not available actually. Their food was just average, just the environment was better than those shoplot restaurants. Their captain/waitress attitude were not that friendly too. Overall I think people there are very arrogant. Don't...
Read moreIf you plan to have your wedding planning here and the number of guest are less than 10 tables. Not recommended to use this restaurant. I remember when i made appointment for selecting the food menu, they said they will let us use the private hall if there are no other wedding on that day. On the actual day, there weren't any other wedding in the restaurant but they still let us use the common hall with the walk-in customer, this is not same as what promised. That's fine and it is still acceptable for me. The thing i can't accept was when i request for a table before the entrance for my reception purpose. A lady (not sure she is boss or worker) told me: nope you don't have a table with this amount of guest. If you are despise the small customer in the future, better not to accept their order please.
However, a little good thing was the waitress in the common hall were polite, helpful and providing good services. Thank you...
