Came here to try out the soup bak kut teh once.
The soup tasted like soy sauce + water, just like the many bak kut teh shops/stalls along Gurney Drive of Penang Island, only that the price is not as throat-cutting as the ones in Gurney Drives.
Totally lacks of herbs flavour, so did not ask to refill the soup, as such not sure about their willingness to refill soup.

Read more老字号bakkuteh , lot of people here ate this since they were small. However, I still think this bkt is not really that good. Don't try the dry bakkuteh if you really want a nice dry bakkutteh because it tastes like the homecooked黑酱油肉which we can cook ourselves. The tauke we ordered was up after we finished our rice and both soup and dry bakkutteh. The waiting time for the food was too long until we need to remind the waiter again to get our food. The price is slightly higher than we ate at 老乡&一品香 which we have ordered more at there, quite shocked .
