SHEIK BISTRO CAWANGAN BUKIT TAMBUN (PEARL CITY MALL) — Restaurant in Penang

I don't know how to say this 😏 We were so excited about trying nasi kandar around mainland. Since many were closed, we tried Yasmeen nasi kandar.

My husband took fried baby squids and fried chicken. We were shocked the squids were extremely hard, like we can't even bite a bit of it!! Rock hard!

We called the malay female staff, but she just smiled and referred to another girl. The other female staff came and was clueless on what to do. She gv us an empty plate to remove the squids and walked away. No sorry, nothing.... very disappointed 😞

Finally we called the indian male staff and he quickly apologized. He also brought replacement curry squids which were not something my husband liked. We refused to take it. He even offered squid eggs but we declined because we don't really like it. Finally he refunded RM5 to us for the worthless fried squids. We saw the staffs then trying to eat the fried squids. They were disgusted too...and shocked tht it was too hard 🤣

There goes our penang nasi kandar experience... tomorrow we're trying chinese...

Reasonable price and delicious food but main problem is the rude bangla manager dont have sense to respect customer. I have been there once to order 1 maggi goreng but waited 20mins and then ask him how long need to wait atleast i can knw rather than wait at counter. He reply rudely need to wait for 2 hours. I asked him again do i really need to wait for 2hours for 1 maggi goreng? Then he said again tunggu la. U mau cepat ka? Tunggu la! Very rude! Then i cancel order and request for my money back he said cant return my money. I really angry n shout...
