A very traditional Hainan coffee shop with structures from the pre-war dated back in the late 1800s to early 1900s. Interior offers a lot of spaces, complimented by high ceilings and wide backyard, making it a place for great refreshments. Tables and chairs are of old woods made. The tea or beverages are ordinary, but their famous variety of Hainanese steamed buns (Bao/Pao/包) are the popular eye candies which is exquisitely made. They sell Char Siew Pao/叉燒包, Fermented pasted pork Pao/南乳包, Kaya Pao /加央包, Red Bean Paste Pao/紅豆包, Bean Paste Pao/豆沙包 and Big Pao/大包 (only upon early request). All Paos are best selling even during weekends as it is also a local hit at Temoh Town to many out-stationers and tourists. The coffee shop even provides and sells breakfast meals such as steamed pork meat balls (known traditionally as Siew Mai/燒賣), Nasi Lemak, fried noodles and beehoon, Yong Taufu/釀豆腐 and half boiled eggs too.

Read more2024 : pit stop for kopi-si. Lady boss was accommodating and friendly, off peak. Kopi-si still got oomph. This time bought char siu pau and kari pau. Char siu filling ok je. Curry/kari is much nicer overall. The worthy buy.
2022: Good for quick pit stop in small town for coffee, pau, kaya toast. Paus are a tad pricey but it has the home-made texture. Coffee is definitely good. RM3 big. Worth stopping to tapau this.

Read moreHomemade dumplings, with all kinds of fillings.. a good stopover place "in the middle of nowhere" in a "desertd cowboy town" for a quick tea time snack. Old authentic hailam Kopitiam where the elderly lady boss still uses the abacus to calculate your bills.. (clap clap)
