This's our countless visits to this restaurant but this time is really disappointed. First of all the lady boss who responsible to take order didn't came to us even though she told me she will come to take my order after she's done with the others 2 table which is waiting as well. I do understand you're busy and I waited patiently. But after sometime she's still not there to take our order instead just stand by the counter area and start taking order for others table which came later then me. Finally when she wanted to my order but her bad attitude and her rude speaking manner really disappointed us. We do understand sometimes you might run out of choices of some high demand dish. Especially the in house special but she don't have to ask us to go another restaurant if we want to order the house special (生鱼)instead just tell me nicely and offer us another dish instead. When we asked her what kind of meat dish she can recommend us, she just hand over the menu with a rude and speechless face and ignore me instead she recommended dish to another customer which is ordering at the same time by the counter. After we completed our order ,the lady boss told us ' If you had make your ordered please stay and strictly no cancellation allow'. She even told us the waiting time can be very long. To be honest, if I wanted to place my order, do you think I will run away. Like seriously!!! Overall the food is good with reasonable price but it's not worth to paid for such a bad customer service. Especially when I came from the same industry. Highly not recommended. I believe there's more better restaurant around and not there to spoil your appetite. I know this shop is famous and well known but with the service like this it's really disappointed. Not first but our last time here. I don't think this restaurant...

Many people have recommended visiting this restaurant, and I must say, they’re right. The food is truly delicious, especially the Kung Pao Snakehead Fish Fillets. When you order fish here, they cleverly divide it into two parts: the meat is cooked in a dish of your choice—I went with the Kung Pao flavor—and the rest is turned into a fresh and flavorful Fish Soup. The Fish Soup is delightful, and even the Fried Pig Intestines are surprisingly tasty, offering a pleasant crunch. The Fried Pork Belly is another must-try dish. It’s incredibly crunchy, and the aroma is simply irresistible. Every dish is served in generous portions, and the prices are quite reasonable. A few things to note: there can be a wait of almost an hour during peak times. The lady who seems to be the owner can come off as a bit rude, but it might just be her manner. Thankfully, the quality of the food makes up for it. Otherwise, it would be quite disappointing. Parking can be tricky; I found a spot behind the restaurant in a small lot with limited spaces. Overall, it’s worth visiting for the food alone. Try to overlook the...

The restaurant offers a wide range of seafood varieties. Had the Snake Head fish bone soup and the taste was alright. Other dishes tasted adequately pleasant but only recommended in-house dining during the weekdays as the premise is known for its capability of housing in large crowds during weekends and festivities which might cause stuffiness and disorganization in dining services. Some staffs' services, however was on the low side or below customer's satisfactory (at least in my dining experience) whereby interactive hospitality was lacking (eg. Inattentive gestures such as taking orders in a rather rushing and at some instance, verbally less friendly in tone; despite having a stable and renowned reputation as a local hit and undoubtedly favoured by outstation visitors.) The waiting time for the servings is on the average side even for normal weekdays.

Overall, average to normal dining experience, albeit reputable, but behavioral at...

As most of the other reviews mention, the 生鱼汤 (herbal fish soup) is what my family and I drive up to Temoh for. The soup is rich and nourishing, and has much depth in its flavour. Honestly qualifies more for a tonic than a soup, although it might be too herbal for some. The 香槟鸡翅 (malted chicken wings) were so good, I wish I had a bottle of soju to go with it. The 咸蛋鱼片 was a dark horse, I didn't expect much but it was done very well. The fish slices were fresh and fluffy, and the batter coating the fish complimented the dish instead of masking the sweetness of the fish. Overall very impressed, and would continue coming back.

Easily to locate at Temoh (at the traffic light) and has wide parking behind the restaurant. Comfortable dining environment with variety choices of special exotic dishes to choose from which may not be found easily elsewhere. Well recommended to try their steamed river fish (absolutely worth the price, soft fresh and juicy), champaign pork rib (taste like Worcestershire sauce but much unique), salted egg yolk with paku pakis vegetables (a rare vege that only can be found in local areas), and their German pork knuckle (crunchy and abundant, might be a bit too huge portion for lesser than 4 people).
