Al-Basha Mesir Restaurant — Restaurant in Perak

We have never ever tasted any Middle Eastern food served with mayo and chili sauce. We ordered mix grill and kebab, they were just DRY DRY DRY, I don’t think they are freshly made daily, tasted more like overnight’s. Expensive for such poor quality meal. If you’re looking for authentic flavours, please don’t bother to waste your money here, seriously.

(Reply to the owner: You did not serve any garlic sauce to start with. I commented on what we received. We didn’t have to go to the kitchen for quality check, we commented based on the served food, it was not good even if like you said, freshly made. And there are quite some reviews talked about the pricing as well, you didn’t bother to review them back like how you did here? We didn’t have hatred, we just had the worst meal. Food was acceptable but the service was awful. Took 40 minutes for the food to arrive, eventhough there were only 3 customers in the restaurant, including me. I didn't order a fancy food though, just ordered kebab sandwich, but they messed up the order & served me something else. Waited for another 10 mins for my food to arrive.

Okaylah they messed up the order & they apologized; I didn't care much as I was hungry at that point of time. So I ate my food & went to the counter to pay. I was literally standing at the counter & looking around for the cashier, while the staff were sitting and chit-chatting. Then one of them saw me & asked "Nak bayar ke?".."Ey tak lah, just standing here for fun.." 😐

Come on lah...Be more professional & prioritize...

Most of the staff speaks arabic but there’s this one staff speaks Malay language fluently. Attentive staff and nice ambience.

Food of big portion too though doesn’t look like it. Sedap shish tawook dia.

We ordered family mix grill platter. Came with salad, fries, and wrapped in bread with garlic sauce and chilli sauce. You could ask for more sauce if needed.

The cream pasta is good too. For me, it was well seasoned. But for those who prefers salty food, this would be lightly seasoned.

The strawberry & lemon juice was nice too. Recommended and other people should at least try their food...
