Asow Eatery Station — Restaurant in Perak

Absolute nice place to dine. It is situated in the nursery and most of the food on the menu utilises the plants and herbs from the nursery. So, basically a farm to table kinda experience. The cafe is built with green and nature in mind hence ceiling to floor window panels with lots of natural light and surrounded by lots and lots of green plants.

We ordered coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice in a fancy chem bottle. Salted egg croissant is a MUST. Very nice. My friend ate the entire chicken wings serving. She says it’s really delicious. She is chicken crazy. I didn’t fancy the cheesecake. Felt it is more flour than cheese.

Service and staffs were top notch! I loved how nice and friendly they were. So polite and always smiling. Thank you so much for answering all my questions even though some were silly. Price wise i find it reasonable for the environment, service and healthy quality offerings.

The only thing disappointing for me is the breakfast menu being unavailable all day. Breakfast is one of the easiest meal to cook and is not that complicated compared other items on the menu. I hope they can make it...

We ordered lamb shank, butter lemon grilled chicken and sautéed much room bowl.

We all loved everything served. My boys compared the lamb shank with what they used to have in Australia. The flooded yummy gravy was so delicious, they licked the plate clean.

The herbs ciabata with butter was also enjoyable.

For dessert, we had indulgence chocolate, devil chocolate and onde-onde. If both the chocolate cakes sweetness could be less a bit, they would be quite good. The onde onde cake was enjoyable with a pungent pandan flavour.

However, there was an unexpected and unforgivable mistake from the cashier. ( not the cashier's mistake though, is the payment system actually) My friend paid the bill RM 269 without letting me knew it. When I went to the counter asked for the bill, the cashier(not the previous cashier) printed again the bill to me. When I was ready to tap my card, my friend immediately stood up at the table and said that she already settle the bill. This is an unacceptable payment system fault. Had a short vacay around Ipoh and went café-hunting — and we found this gem! The moment we stepped in, we were really impressed with the decor. It’s a complete 360° change from the outside. The vibes were serene and super calm. The greenery and tree-themed decorations truly gave a refreshing, relaxing mood. We ordered chicken chop, fish and chips, and nasi lemak with crispy chicken, along with drinks. All came in generous portions, and the food was delicious. However, the nasi lemak took a bit longer to be served , but worth the wait.

The staff were fast and friendly when taking our order. Even the toilet was super aesthetic , love the attention to detail! Overall, it’s a great spot to chill. The café is located right beside a plant nursery .. looks like they might be under the same management. After your meal, you can stroll around the nursery... who knows, you might end up buying a...
