This place was the absolute worst EVER! Our parents as regular visitors reserved early and requested for a table near the door, cause dad has mobility issues. When we arrived for the second seating the place was super chaotic, no one was responsible at the door to greet guests and show them their table. No waiting chairs outside! Almost no table was already cleaned and prepared for the second seating. The place looked like a giant mess. We needed to run around and find someone responsible ourselves to show us then the WORST TABLE of the entire place. at the far end away from the door, far behind between kitchen and toilets!! Let that sink, and remember my parents are regular guests here. That's unacceptable how they treat their guests here. So we got an ugly table with dirty table cloths, some bowls, spoons, chopsticks were kind of thrown on to the table, we set up the table ourselves. When they started serving it felt rushed, they threw all courses unorganized and not in a proper order just on to our table, every looked loveless thrown into plates and nothing really tasted well. A super sad and horrible experience for a CNY dinner with family. The parents live in a bigger community for elderly people and won't recommend this place anymore to any of their friends. A Chinese restaurant that serves Cantonese and Hakka cuisines. Located at the heart of Chemor town, it is one of the decent restaurants in the area.
The specialties include claypot braised pork ribs or garoupa fish cooked with yam, home made beancurd, free range chicken with oily rice, seafoot claypot and many other varieties. Ask the waitress on their house specialties.
Their pudding dessert is probably one of the best in the market and they serve special flavours of jackfruit, dragon fruit and watercress. These flavours are rotated daily and you get what they offer on a particular day.
