I heard this place has been around since 1966 and has been renovated three times. Nice and clean place, even the toilets are upgraded. If you are looking for simple and those good old days kind of food.....this is the place to be. The prawn mee reminds me of the taste of the noodles soup which I had during my school days. Simple and yet so appetising loaded with fresh fish balls, fish cakes and prawns. Remember to add in the chilli paste given to enhance the taste. The toasted bread with kaya and 'cut' butter is so crisp.....simply one of the best I have tasted. Coffee was ok, mild, not the bitter kind. The nasi lemak tasted really like those good old days, homemade. Do give the pulut rice with kaya a try, it's nice. Lastly but not least, the owner is an old uncle who is so welcoming and...

What can I say? It's a highly overrated kopitiam. The food that different from reference photo is common nowadays, but serving food using ingredients that no longer fresh is the main issue I ought to rate here. The prawns seems had been unfreezes many times and they become very mushy, so they taste like sad. Also, the very small amount of all the food is not compatible with their pricing and their taste that are below standard. Eg? The glutinous rice way too soggy and I hardly accept it. However, the toasted bread is the only food I satisfied with and I did ordered more from the aunty. As the conclusion, I prefer not recommending this kopitiam for foreigners to visit unless the kopitiam willing to listen to advices and take action...

This shop is not honest. They pandan coffee is nice but the pricing is not honest. First time I drink which is around 1 year ago is around RM3.50. Then few months after that, I came and order the drink again and I was charged by the uncle RM5.20 per glass. He said is due to hike in price. Then 1 week ago, I ordered the same drink again and it become RM3.80. Today, I order the same drink again and was told RM4.80. I asked the bos why is it a hike from RM3.80 to RM4.80 and was told I was given normal coffee that day. I as a coffee coffee drinker, he dare to tell me that day is normal coffee. The how can a normal coffee have strong pandan taste like their panda coffee. The uncle is so dishonest. If can, I would even want to...

We chanced upon this while looking for a place to eat in Gopeng. White coffee was highly recommended and it was good indeed. Had kicap special noodles which came with sausage, egg and ham... It was a tad too salty and overpriced at RM12.50 (Bear in mind, this is new village in Gopeng) Similarly for the claypot yee mee...very salty. The nasi lemak was so-so and when we asked for some sambal cos the sambal was not much, was surprised that they charged us for it.. would have appreciated if they informed us. We also tried their traditional Hainanese kaya sticky rice and it was nice. Overall, a decent place to eat as it was clean but they really should reduce saltiness level. Pricey and not worth it due to saltiness level.

Good morning from Gopeng! Apparently Gopeng is our new South to North Breakfast Pit Stop nowadays since last year's CNY. Today tried another new Kopitiam for Hainanese coffee, bread and some noodles. The Kaya Sticky Rice..I likey. Friendly Boss Uncle gave me Mandarin oranges because I wished him KHFC!! Oh yeah he's a good and pretty convincing salesman..a simple Beehoon he can tell you 'it's a must try and I confirm you will like it'. Lol. That was Mandy's meal. And me & Danny shared the Mee.Kicap Special and Roti Telur Goyang. #MakanWithJulian P/S: Traffic smooth smooth like kaya! Drive safe. And see you, Penang!! Wish you (and me) get rich!!!
