We came here for breakfast as my wife wanted to have a good Fried Koey Teow. My brother and sister in laws insisted that they serve the best Prawn Mee too. So, we came here on an early saturday morning. The place is just a simple set up. It was located at a clearing area just in front of a row of houses. There was a simple open air shed where all the cooking was done, and the patrons were placed at the open area, where tables and chairs were randomly located. We just looked for an empty table, found one and made ourselves comfortable. I decided to try the Wantan Hor, which was just simply excellently delicious. It was obvious that the chef is a chinese muslim, hence the taste was definitely authentic. This is the Ipoh kind of chinese food I have been missing ever since we moved to KL. On the positive side, the foods were very affordable. In fact, all the dishes we ordered were at RM7.00 each..and tasted wonderful...But sadly there was a downside too. The guy sitting at the table next to ours was non chalantly smoking, without a care to the world!! When I enquired from one of the waiters whether smoking was really allowed there, he answered in the affirmative. And that had totally turned me off big time!! Luckily I had finished my breakfast, otherwise I would have stormed out immediately... I really hope the operator would quickly realize their mistakes, and rectify the situation soon. And the law is very clear about non smoking at any food establishment. Their reckless handling of this issue is really embarassing, and shed such a negative image on the muslim's reputation, where smoking is also haram and forbidden in Islam. Failing which, I would NOT come here again in the future, regardless of how tasty their Wantan Hor is...

Taste good, love wantan mee. Reminds me the old days. The original taste of wantan. Light and not heavy, without any add ons. Still, the feel and taste is there, even can repeat the same menu every day. Good...
