GB Vegetarian Burger — Restaurant in Perak

Tried burger kokido and double chicken burger special. Both were tasty, but I will never come back.

1. was charged additional RM0.50 for each burger because they have “recently increased price”. Menu did not show new price. When boss was explaining menu, new price was also not mentioned.

2. we ordered fries (Rm11.50!! Very expensive for a medium portion!!). However, we ordered the sauce to be on the side instead of drizzled. Obviously, the sauce is lesser vs if it was drizzled on a plate. We asked for more sauce twice.

During payment, we were charged additional RM2.50 for sauces. And when we said we were not told about this. The lady boss gave us excuses such as “all my custome pay this happily, u didn’t know Bcos u r new, cheese sauce is very expensive, etc.” At the end, she said “just pay whatever u want”.

? That is so rude. We paid for everything else except for the additional sauces that we were not informed about. Even the “price increase”! She didn’t even say thank you when we left.

3. out of 5 staff that was there, only ONE wore a face mask. The table cloth was also dirty (all 4 tables- I even switched tables). Lady boss was also very rude.

It’s disappointing that I will not be coming back, despite the tasty...

Want a vegetarian burger and fries? Yep, me too. Was not disappointed when I visited because I got exactly what I expected. A big juicy vegetarian burger and fries with a drink. Not much parking here and the restaurant wasn't amazing. Parking was a challenge and the road in front of the restaurant was busy. Staff are a bit gruff but was fine with that. Can understand why some doesn't like that. Would visit again because I love burger and fries and this location...

We found this place randomly while searching for vegetarian food in Ipoh, and we are so so happy that we did. The food is so yummy and the owner uncle and aunty, both are very friendly. I am still getting over the food, can you believe they serve vegetarian chicken drumstick and it can actually beat an real chicken drumstick from most places. The burgers were definitely the best ones I have ever had. Loved it, going there again on our next visit to...
