Light House Seafood Restaurant Matang — Restaurant in Perak

When we reached Taiping, we decided to stop by Light House Seafood Restaurant in Matang for dinner. It is located in a village area not too far from Taiping town, about 10km and takes about 10 minutes drive there. This restaurant is popular and famous for its Signature Claypot Seafood Porridge. We preferred to go at night because it’s much cooler and less crowded as there are lots of tour groups visiting the village during lunchtime. You can choose and customize your seafood porridge. We chose pomfret fish, fresh fish balls and squid. The mixed seafood porridge tasted fresh and delicious. It comes in a big portion and the price was reasonable. We also ordered some Steamed Shell Fish, Fried Crispy Small Fish, Dried Chili Fish, Boiled Blood Cockles (Si Ham), Steamed Ginger Clams in Deluxe Soup, Fried Squid and Stir Fry Vegetables. The atmosphere is not as good as you expect. Found flies all around, and after they switch on the fan, u will find fewer flies 😂. The young chubby lady was kind of rude and served the customer. We just counted and said we needed the porridge for 6 pax. Then she responded, "Are you sure you need it for 6 pax? We doubted her questions and thought we counted 6 heads was wrong.
