Restoran Hong Hock — Restaurant in Perak

On a recent trip back to my hometown from Singapore, my family and I decided to dine at Hobg Hock Restaurant, and it was an excellent choice!

We ordered six dishes, and every single one was delicious. The flavors were well-balanced, and the quality of the food truly stood out. The portions were generous, perfectly satisfying the eight of us without any compromise on taste or presentation.

The restaurant's environment added to the experience – it was comfortable and ideal for enjoying a good meal. The customer service was commendable, with the staff being attentive and polite.

What truly impressed us was the affordability of the meal. With such delicious food, ample portions, and a pleasant ambiance, the pricing was very reasonable.

very neat small town establishment

popular with the locals (who can be wonderfully animated and boisterous)

1] fried shelled mantis shrimp ... salted egg ... tasty but way too hard ... a fail

2] signature stuffed tofu ... mediocre

3] boiled chicken ... delicious memories of childhood ... old school indeed

4] fish head curry (red snapper) ... not overly spiced ... flavoursome and slightly tart .... the champion today

Food: Excellent for the price. The meat and vegetables is fresh.

Butter prawn dish is awesome. Clay pot kangkong (water spinach) dish, tasty belacan "lovin it". Stingrays Thai sauce dish with a hint of sour tastes so yummy eat with hot rice. Fried sotong (calamari) just nice.
