Foods&Drinks - 2/5 Small portion and pricey. For me it's quite pricey for a simple restaurant like this. Others than soups like food, there is nothing special. Added shrimp or chicken as sides dish cost you almost a bowl of noodles (around RM5). Service quite slow and always send the wrong order, maybe because it's crowded.
Environment - 2/5 Very packed during weekends. Don't expect your order came early. Noisy place. I had an experienced with a rude waiters in this particular restaurant. Again maybe because it's crowded.
Parking spaces - 2/5 Logistically speaking, the parking space are not enough. It's in front of the main road. People stop-by in front of the restaurant every minutes.
Cleanliness - 1/5 Floor very dirty, small cockroaches under the table (I'm not lying,go and see it for yourself),beware. Unpleasant smell when entering the restaurant come from the kitchen(during crowded). Part of the toilet broken. One of my legit sources said that this place using foreign workers for cooking prep, and locals act as chefs to covered all things up.
Generally, I had a bad experience. The price should match with the environment. Lowering the price a little bit is a simple ways to attract all customers. It's not all based on my point of views, I've done a research with the local too.
+Bonus My legit sources says,it's not profitable to work there because of ridiculous working hours with small overtime payment. I think it was from 7am-11pm(8 hours normal,5 overtime, and 3 hours...
Read moreIf you go to Ipoh, you must stop at Mee Rebus Ramli which is located in Taman Tasek Jaya. For many years, this shop still exists and the taste of the boiled noodles remains consistent.
Delicious and tasty. Although there are many other places that offer delicious rebus mee, Haji Ramli's family recipe is still my favorite. This is the boiled mee that is quite popular in Ipoh.
The price for one bowl is inexpensive. Enough of all the flavors with the right concentration and the filling of the sauce that doesn't disappoint. Get one more egg for each bowl.
I also ordered chicken rice. The price for one plate is RM6.60. Okla is good too but not the best chicken rice I've ever eaten. The laksa here is also delicious. But this visit I didn't order laksa since it's lunch time so I like food like rice and boiled noodles.
Various types of drinks are offered but my favorite is lai chi kang. For one bowl, the price charged is RM3.50. It's worth it because there are so many ingredients in it. And lai chi kang is very suitable to be enjoyed during hot weather because it can help cool the...
Read moreBeen a frequent here since 10 years ago, would've been the best if the portion is as much as before but I guess doable now that I'm watching my weight 🤣, place is clean as always, service got better especially now they're trying to implement the waiter-online-order system, the waitress was so polite just now, food quality is good, tried everything from the morning to afternoon menu, haven't had the chance to tried the fried rice/western stuffs yet, gotta admit the only mee shop that sells cooked mee without the plastic/kapur taste and thats probably why we've been repeating here, they also sells the raw noodles if yall wanted to buy it coz we always buy them (guaranteed halal and clean with no chalky aftertaste and 2kg only cost rm6), maybe one day they could also try doing kuetiaw/hor fun? Hahah, another improvement on card debit/credit system payment would be nice too as currently only having the maybank...
