Ipoh Trip Day 2 Part 2
Remember when I said Day 2 was about discovering good places? Our dinner place happened to be in Bercham area which was a short drive from Tambun. After the exhausting day playing water at The Lost World of Tambun, it was time to enjoy dinner.
Vaguely remember reading about Rasa Lain from other socmed when I was searching for a restaurant - but the name piqued my interest so Rasa Lain it was...
◾Claypot Unagi Rice - ordered the portion big enough to feed 9 of us. No muddy taste in the eel that (almost) covered the rice underneath which was a plus point. The kids were not a fan of unagi but the rice in the claypot was good as it was mixed with soy sauce and the sweet teriyaki sauce. Price wise is on the higher end, about RM350 (including 2 big bottles of sugar cane) with the crab dish taking half of the bill itself. However it’s...
