Secret Coffee House — Restaurant in Perak

My parents had been raving about this place for a while, so I finally decided to give it a try. I had some reservations about their recommendation, and unfortunately, my visit didn't completely dispel those doubts.

We ordered two sets of food and beverages, but there was a significant time gap of over 15 minutes between their arrival at the table. I opted for the grilled chicken, but to my disappointment, the fries were soggy, and the chicken had an unmistakable frozen meat taste. I understand that many places use frozen boneless thigh meat for chicken chops, but there are certainly better ways to prepare it.

Another issue I observed was how the staff served multiple cold drinks. The restaurant proudly labels itself as the most luxurious in Kampar, yet the staff carried cold drink glasses like they were at a mamak stall. It wouldn't be too hard to use a tray for a more upscale...

There are several issues with this cafe and we discovered it the hard way. The grilled chicken had this off-taste that stem from undercooking and the black pepper sauce also had a weird smelly taste. The fish and chips also wasn't fresh and the amount of bread crumb and flour coated with the chicken chops were excessive while the hot drinks served are actually lukewarm. To our dismay, we discovered a cockroach lurking around the counter and the hygienic-challenged condition of its kitchen at the back.

However credits should be given when it's due such as RM1 to get a drink with main course and the huge portion of food are of good values, just not enough to risk a potential food poisoning due to the lack of hygienic standards.

The price of the food expenses but can accepted, no comments about the food, but just don’t understand what the hell the kitchen and all of the waiter doing. I’m waiting 1 hours for my food also haven’t cooked, until we went to the counter and ask the reason then they just informed us their machine was broken. Machine having problems didn’t tell the customer at first and the kitchen didn’t match the order with counter. All the chef free as enjoying holiday. Wasted my time and money. All of the girl waiter just stand there and watching us like crow. No any action or confirmation with us about the order. Hopefully the manager or others relate department can see this comment and improve your services thank you. Date...
