A very popular fresh water fish restaurant in Lenggong. A simple kopishop style restaurant, reasonable clean with comfy seating. Service is friendly but foods need some waiting time.--4* The famous 红吉罗lives up to expectations,it is sweet and tasty even though is was frozen. The superior sauce is balance,and the scales added the crunchy factor. Enjoyable dish.--4.5* The Bentong Taufu-pok is a MUST in this restaurant, handmade and it is fragrant and delicious.--5* The fish paste with bitter gourd is pretty good,soup is flavourful but sadly they added lots of fried garlic, the bitterness from the garlic off balance the soup.--4* The fry Paku leaves taste wise in nice,but a bit too wet for the dish.--4* A nice restaurant to enjoy fresh water fish if you are in Lenggong.

We stopped by this restaurant after having a 3 days jungle hike in Royal Belum. Based on the recommendation from my friend, he said that this restaurant is one of the good chinese restaurant in Lenggong. He was true. We ordered assam prawn, the sambal is really one of a kind compared to the assam dishes that always we have in KL. And their signature fish ball is really delicious, so chewy an tender. Don't forget to dip the fish ball into their signature home made chilli padi sauce to give some extra kick of spiciness.

16-12-2022 Revisited this place again. The dishes are good, but the prices are on the high side. We need to deduct a STAR from 4 to 3. 27-6-2022 Finally able come back to this restaurant after 3 long years. We ordered the fish ball, vegetable, steam fish, and salt fish pork belly clay pot. Everything tastes very much the same, still highly recommended. Would definitely come back again.

The restaurant is an old wooden shop. If you are looking for special river fish then please never miss out this shop as they have varieties of river fish choice. We had ordered steam feather back, Kelah fish, Karai fish and very nice paku pakis vegetable. The price is reasonable and worth for us to revisit.

Rm80 for 2 people. For the food taste, it's not worth it at all, even when compared to KL prices. Shop environment was quite hot and smells of kitchen waste. The staff are also very stressed and quarrelling incessantly, which spoils the mood of customers. Would not come back here again if I come this way.

We came here specifically for river fish but we were quite disappointed. The fish we had is "Tingkalan" we ordered in steam style. The presentation n the sauce is ok but the fish meat is not firm. It was soft. We made known to the lady boss after payment but she answered she dont know. Can believe ?
