We dine in at Kamunting branch today 10/11/25. We ordered our meals includes Chicken Porridge. We were served with no spoon. When we asked the counter, we were told that 'sudu habis' and gave a fork instead. How to eat porridge with fork?
After saying that, the staff when to look for a spoon but never update us till we approached the counter to ask for the outcome and was told sudu habis.
No effort from the Texas staff to update us on the outcome, whereby that is a basic customer service. It's not a one sided act.
We told the staff you guys should tell the customer sudu habis when we ordered the porridge. Should we agree and proceed the order, it's fine. U didn't advise us sudu habis and you expect us to eat our porridge using what?
Lack of understanding on the customers need what more the nature of how to eat the food.
Later, they told that they managed to find one spoon and gave us. They said they are getting the stock from other outlets.
Question here is, doesn't Texas do their inventory checks? Should we don't order the porridge, the Texas Kamunting staff would not have known they have exhausted the sudu.
Another scenario attracted our attention is the table behind us was left with trays and unfinished stuffs. Also there were foods spilled on the floor.
We were there dining for almost 1 hour and there were no orders at the moment as the screen was cleared. Staff were heard talking, laughing.
We anticipate they should have cleared the table rather than wasting time talking etc.
No Texas Kamunting staff came to check what is happening outside. They chose to talk among them.
Until we left, the table is still unclear. We didn't take photos as that shall violate the privacy of the store. Am sure the outlet CCTV should be working and supported the act.
We were there around 13:52:36 when the porridge order is made.
Texas is an international brand. Hence, am sure there are certain standards set regardless where the outlet is...

Tapi makanan ambil masa lebih sejam untuk siap, dan rider pun terpaksa tunggu lama di kedai. Bila makanan sampai, bungkusannya kemas dan rasa pun masih okay, tapi dah sejuk dan hilang selera sebab dah terlalu lama dibiarkan.
Mula-mula saya ingat mungkin saya kena sekali je. Tapi bila tengok review dari pelanggan lain, rupa-rupanya ramai juga yang alami benda sama — makanan lambat siap, servis perlahan, staf tak cekap. Ini bukan kes terpencil, tapi dah jadi masalah biasa. Kalau macam ni, nampaknya ada isu dari segi pengurusan kedai itu sendiri, bukan sekadar staf.
Kalau memang ada kekangan, lebih baik hadkan order atau update pelanggan awal-awal , atau tutup je terus kedai takpayah letak 24H supaya tak buat orang tertunggu tanpa berita. Jangan biar rider dan pelanggan sama-sama ‘tersepit’ sebab kelemahan dalaman.
