Delicious bagel for a really good price. Better than coff33 b3ans or Chr1st1n3's bakery. I'm pleasantly surprised. It's fluffy and soft on the inside but the outside have a nice crust to it. They toasted it so it's nice and warm. We tried blueberry cream cheese (lightly sweet) + seasalt bagel and ham&cheese + jalapeño cheese bagel and they were generously filled (as pictured). The iced latte (wt oat milk) is great too (for around RM13). The inside is aesthetically pleasing. They also sell their bagel frozen and some baking/cooking ingredients. We dined in and the bagel were wrapped in wax paper cut in half (convenient) and was in a cupboard container. You can get a lid at their self service counter if you want to take it away. The self service counter also have plain water, cutleries, some condiments. Service was friendly. You can pay using payment app. Parking was easy too. I came on a Saturday morning. A well...
Read moreBeen there last week, the service is terrible. We seek for waiter where to order the food and the waiter speak very rude and ask us to order at the other side. We are totally speechless with it.
They don't even clear up the table after the customer leave, I would say that majority all the table are yet clean up. We also saw another waitress is playing with her phone and didn't even bother it.
There's a long table which is empty and we ask the waiter whether can we sit there and he's like "HUH". I have no idea what is this response.
When the waiter serve the drinks, he put the drinks on the table with her anger, and when he serve the food, he don't even give us cutleries.
This is not a well trained F&B team. They show their emotion on their face and treat customer very rude.
This is my first time there and my last time. Truly disappointed and will not...
Read moreFirst and foremost, this cafes is Muslim-friendly. As a result, no pork, lard, or alcohol are served. They mainly sell fresh bagels with a variety of choices (seasalt, charcoal, pandan, etc.) add on with sweet/savoury fillings. Btw, they also sell raw ingredients for baking.
The first photo with coffee shows my first visit during 2nd Syawal, and the second is a recent takeaway. Seriously, they're extremely generous with the fillings and the bagel is so large that I have to share it. The price is reasonable for such a tasty big bagel with fillings!
They also have a basic menu of fresh brew coffee (americano, latte, mocha) or tea if you don't like coffee. If you're in Taiping, don't forget to visit this cafe! My recommendation for bagel: jalapeno cheese add on beef pepperoni, pandan add on peanut butter and cheesy...
