E-Day Claypot House — Restaurant in Sabah

Atmosphere is very nice with big airflow with both front and back open up.

Service personal is very moody and don't speak and ask about what you want to eat. Mostly are regular customer. My second time dine in.

My chicken clay pot is slightly over cook and the taste seem missing. Not my previous trip.

22nd December 2022 Went there with my son to have lunch after doing deep cleaning for Kangen water machine.

I order Stew Beef with rice set, can feel the herb taste. My son order Black Pepper Beef claypot, the beef is tender. nice lunch this trip. That's alot more of dishes to try out. Will be back if happen to be...

Tried the claypot rice with pork rib. Usually would expect the meat juice to simmer into the rice which is what makes claypot rice fragrant. But the taste is bland overall. Environment feels stuffed and not very comfortable because of the heat coming from the kitchen. Also recommend relocating the food waste bin to another place and away from the payment counter, its quite unpleasant and nauseating to see the collected food waste of other customers in the bin...

Unfortunately this place seems overrated. The staff wasn’t rude, but definitely uncaring. Their food was quite greasy (as in pools of oil) and many times drowned in sauce, not really what I was hoping for. Ordered their meat dishes only to find very little actual meat in it.

I would agree with a few of the other reviews here that the price is a bit high for the quality of food and service they offer. This would not be my first choice...
