Came here after reading the reviews, had to try it for myself, had a craving for the coto, though for semenanjung we call it soto, the soup was thick and rich, and the meat were tender, overall i would say its good, the egg tart was different from another kopitiam i tried “bar”, it was cripsy on the outside and juicy on the inside, the insides were a bit loose, some tarts had solid fillings like the kopitiam i mentioned which is also in sandakan (my preference), had classic kopi o, saw the pastries like cakoi etc, wasnt that inviting from a glance (maybe coz i was full), will probably try them next time if i have the chance, all in all a good place for a decent meal, a bit hot out so you need to grab a table near a fan, else you’ll be sweating a bit if its a sunny day, also the workers are attentive which is a...

The konlo noodles and chicken rice here is passable, but nothing I'd return for. What I WOULD come back for is their Portuguese egg tarts. Given the lack of choice in Sandakan, the ones here are one of the (if not THE) best in town. Priced at RM1.60 each (as of June 2018), they have a good fragrance with sufficiently eggy filling and a melt-in-your-mouth flaky crust. Considering that prices start at RM2.50 in KL, this is a steal.

They also sell Chempiang (Ham Chim Peng) which is supplied by the Hai Joo Bakery around the corner and is fresher (and about 30 sen cheaper) at the bakery. Therefore, other than for the egg tarts, I wouldn't bother getting anything else...

A lot of choices you can get here. From Chinese local food (kon Lau mien, etc) , Malay food( Nasi Lemak , Nasi Kuning,, etc ) and also Indonesian food which is Coto Makasar being serve here.. delicious as always..there are also a pastry part where they sell Charkui and Portuguese Tart ( I think one of the best in town ) and some other delicacy. And of course ,this restaurant SERVE NO PORK.. One of my other concern other than the food is the cleanliness of the toilet which is good, clean and tidy. So, it is worthy to be call "A place to eat and...

Always a classic go to place to have breakfast in Sandakan. It's the Sandakan version of kopitiam. It has variety of noodles and other food such as nasi lemak, nasi kuning and egg tarts are served. I really liked it here, especially their chicken feet, konlomien and egg tarts.
