On our pitstop in Tenom during our journey to Sandakan, we stumbled upon the hidden gem, Tenom Coffee Valley Restaurant. The culinary experience left an indelible mark on our taste buds.
The tomyam soup was a revelation â rich, aromatic, and undoubtedly the best we've ever tasted. The Pataya fried rice showcased a perfect fusion of flavors, complemented by a tantalizing Thai sweet and sour chicken with rice that was a delight to the palate.
For dessert, the apple pie was a sweet symphony of crisp crust and warm, cinnamon-infused apple filling. We also savored a refreshing vanilla smoothie that provided the perfect balance to our meal.

The coffee tastes not too bad with a slight hint of bitterness to it. You can either try their signature Tenom ground coffee or opt for speciality coffee like Cappuccino, ice blended, etc. The cake depending on availability and there's either 1 or 2 variety to choose from.
The café has both indoor and outdoor seatings, with clean toilet facilities and ample of parking space.
If you wish to purchase souvenirs of Tenom coffee/tea products, there's a small kiosk in the café. It also has a information center located inside but we're unsure the function of it.

I don't think this cafe is ready for customers coming to dine-in in a big group. Service was slow. Asking for a glass of water be like 'Air?' Lain kah cara kalau minta segelas air di Tenom? Those who ordered first will get their order last. Your bill is messy. We ordered 3 nasi goreng but in the receipts its like a puzzle. You need to find it. Shocking!
