Go Fun Kee Bak Kut Teh (MJC) — Restaurant in Sarawak

This is our go to Go Fun Kee outlet all these while but of late the service is just utter rubbish. Even the lady boss is rather rude.

1st round they obviously forgot to key in the order. And the food came like more than 40 minutes later.

2nd round I'm still giving it another try. Food took 45 minutes. And when I asked politely to please check (maybe the order wasn't keyed in or overlooked) the lady boss just rudely said wait. We operate on 1st come 1st serve basis. But what we see were floods of food being served to tables that also came later.

With that, sorry GFK Batu Kawa, there isn't a 3rd time anymore. Despite being a strong and supportive patron from the time you started until today when your business has flourished extensively - I don't think such attitude warrants for further support no matter how good you are amongst other...

I have been eating your Bak Kut Teh since I was a teenager… today when I’m already in my 30s, this branch at MJC standard has dropped tremendously.

If you are the owner of this shop reading my review, please visit your outlet here. I still hold your Bak Kut Teh in high regard, and do not expect your business image to drop. That being said, if you just don’t care about your business… so be it.

Famed for their franchise bak kut teh, this outlet has patrons in and out during their hours of operations with lunch and dinner having the most. The bak kut teh is delicious. The herbal soup is not overbearing and the meat portions are fleshy. Price is a bit on high side but worth it. The outlet is clean. Personnel are good. Decor a bit on the gaudy side but it differentiates them...
